2020 EU Sustainable Taxonomy

The EU taxonomy is a new tool to help investors understand whether an economic activity is environmentally sustainable, and to navigate the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The UK will host COP26 in 2021, but it is so far unclear whether the UK will adopt the EU Taxonomy once we leave the EU. Requirements for reporting by pension funds come into effect in 2021.
