CPF Spring 2025 Website items

CPF have published the latest Pensioner News. This 2025 newsletter has articles on What to do in Cheshire this Spring and Summer, Pension Increase (PI) for 2025/26, the Pensioner Member Survey, the National Fraud Initiative, New branding and website, a Quiz, and invites feedback to pensioncomms@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk

The CPF Survey for Pensioners is available until 30 April 2025. The supporting text begins “Even in retirement, Pensioner members may have views on the Fund and how it is managed. We’re keen to understand what our members think about our services; what we’re doing well and what perhaps we could do better. We have created a survey with approx. 26 questions and whether it’s good, bad or indifferent, we see feedback as a gift that will help us to improve our services to all Pensioner members.” We encourage CPF pensioners to respond, as we also agree that feedback is a gift……

The DWP is creating a Pension Dashboard for everyone to view their pension information online, and in one place and wants the whole pension industry to provide clear information about multiple pensions, including the State Pension, which will also reconnect people with “lost pensions” worth over £31bn. By 31 October 2025, the LGPS will connect to the dashboard to provide pension members information in a secure way, and LGPS schemes are checking their data ready for the new framework.

Summary of the latest CPF Pension Fund Committee. The latest for 7 March includes a summary of CPF progress on the Pensions Dashboard programme, and says the 31 October deadline is “challenging”..
